Kincardine Castle provides a wonderful setting for celebrating life’s special moments with family and friends.

Whether marking a milestone birthday, an anniversary or a gathering across generations, the castle offers a rare opportunity to come together in the atmosphere of a private Scottish castle.

For the duration of your stay, the castle becomes entirely yours. Close family and friends can stay together in the house itself, with accommodation for up to 22 guests, allowing the occasion to unfold naturally over a relaxed weekend or extended stay.

Within the castle, the historic rooms provide beautiful spaces for gathering. The Dining Room seats up to 24 guests and is ideal for celebratory dinners and long lunches, while the Great Hall can host up to 50 seated guests or around 60 standing, offering a dramatic setting for drinks receptions, music and evening festivities. The Drawing Room, with views across the surrounding landscape, provides a more intimate space for conversation and quieter moments during the day.

During your stay, there are many ways to enjoy time together, both on the estate and across Royal Deeside.

Days might be spent walking along the River Dee, exploring the surrounding woodland and hills, or enjoying activities such as clay shooting, fishing, whisky tasting or Highland games. Horse riding, golf and visits to nearby castles and distilleries can also be arranged for those wishing to venture further afield.

As evening falls, guests return to the warmth of the house to gather around the table, share stories and celebrate together.

Dining is entrusted to the estate’s hand-picked team of private chefs, who create seasonal menus and ensure every detail of the occasion is thoughtfully considered. Throughout the planning process, we will work closely with you to ensure your stay feels relaxed, personal and truly memorable.

The castle accommodates up to 22 guests overnight and offers a variety of spaces for gatherings throughout the house and estate.

Ten double or twin rooms each have ensuite bathrooms, alongside two single bedrooms with ensuite or private facilities. Two further single bedrooms with private bathrooms are available for staff or support teams when required.
