Christmas & New Year

Kincardine Castle offers a truly memorable setting for a wedding, whether you are planning an intimate gathering or a larger celebration surrounded by family and friends.

Set within the landscape of Royal Deeside and overlooking the River Dee, the castle and its estate provide a beautiful and timeless backdrop for the beginning of a new chapter together.

For the duration of your celebration, the castle and estate become entirely yours. The house can accommodate up to 22 guests overnight, allowing close family and friends to stay together and share in the atmosphere of the castle throughout the wedding weekend.

Within the castle itself, the Dining Room seats up to 24 guests, while the Great Hall can host up to 56 seated guests or around 60 standing. These historic rooms provide a wonderful setting for ceremonies, drinks receptions and celebratory dinners within the castle, with fires lit and views stretching across the surrounding landscape.

Beyond the castle walls, the surrounding estate opens out across woodland, gardens and farmland overlooking the River Dee.

For larger celebrations, the main marquee site can accommodate structures for up to 750 guests, while smaller marquee settings can be arranged elsewhere across the estate, allowing you to celebrate beneath the open sky while remaining closely connected to the castle itself.

From relaxed gatherings the evening before to shared meals, music and dancing long into the night, the setting lends itself naturally to a traditional Highland wedding, perhaps accompanied by the sound of pipes or a lively ceilidh.
